During your 5 Days Morocco Desert Tour to Merzouga you will enjoy the breathtaking sceneries of the south of Morocco, with its Atlas Mountains, gorges, green valleys, old Kasbah, Oasis and sand dunes. Visit the most rural side of Morocco and get to know about berber people and their lifestyle. Departure from Marrakech in the morning, acrossing High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka (2260m), stop at multiple beautiful panoramas for pictures.Once your reach the summit, begin your descent towards the Kasbah of Telouet, a palatial former residence of the powerful rulers of the Glaoui tribe. The Kasbah is also well-known from the many movies filmed there. Continue on to the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. Travel along the Ounila Valley, seeing old salt mines and beautiful rivers lined with many Berber villages.
After breakfast we will continue our sahara desert trip, taking the road of 1000 kasbahs drive around the colourful Berber villages of the Roses valley, we cross numerous villages strengthened in hard-packed surface, continuation towards the gorges of Dades via the village of boutghrar with a small Stop to visit nomad in caves, afterwards we will continue through the colorful Dades Valley to get to our Hotel for the overnight.
Awake early and climb the sand dunes to watch the beautiful sunrise. Pack-up the camels and trek back to duneline, where you will shower and breakfast at the hotel. Drive on to Ouarzazate via Rissani, where you can stop and visit its Traditional Souks which is considered the largest in southern Morocco. Continue on through the beautiful Draa valley with its millions palm trees. In the evening arrive Ouarzazate and check into hotel.
After a quiet and memorable night in the dunes of Erg Chebbi sand, you can watch the sunrise over the dunes we go back with the camels to the hotel for breakfast and shower and then leave for Rissani to explore the tourist area including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm grove as a part of your exploration. Lunch in Nkoub, then continue to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast we will go to visit Fint Oasis, a beautiful palm grove made up of four traditional Berber villages. Visit a Berber house and enjoy Moroccan mint tea. Afterwards we will drive back to Marrakech through the high Atlas Mountain with the drop off in your accommodation.
